Fuji 5th Station</strong> – Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station is a popular sightseeing spot also for those not climbing the mountain. The observation area here has views of Fujiyoshida and Lake Yamanaka at Komitake Shrine, behind the shopping area. Head towards Hakone.</li> <li><strong>Visit Owakudani boiling valley</strong> - The result of a volcanic eruption over 3,000 years ago, Owakudani is a volcanic valley with active sulfur vents and hot springs.</li> <li><strong>Ride Hakone Ropeway</strong> - Board a Hakone Ropeway gondola to view sights such as the smoking and sulfurous Owakudani Valley, the calm waters of Lake Ashinoko and the grandeur of Mount Fuji</li> <li><strong>Ride Lake Ashi Cruise</strong> - Taking a tour of the area will usually necessitate taking one of the comfortable leisure boats from one end of the lake to the other.
