DAY 01 :ARRIVAL AT CAPE TOWN
  • Arrive at Cape Town International Airport you will be met by your driver guide.
  • Enjoy lunch at a local Indian restaurant (time permitting).
  • Time permitting, enjoy some shopping in Cape Town.
  • Cape Town is a shopper’s dream with a wide range of shopping expeditions to undertake – from luxury boutiques and shopping malls to private shopping tours and markets, the Mother City has it all.
  • Transfer to your hotel.
  • Upon arrival at the hotel, check in.
  • Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
  • Enjoy dinner at a local Indian restaurant.
DAY 02: PRIVATE CAPE TOWN CITY TOUR
  • Breakfast at your hotel.
  • You will be met at your hotel by your driver & guide for a Private Cape Town City Tour.
  • Ascend Table Mountain for unforgettable sweeping views (weather permitting).
  • Return to the city and pass through the Malay Quarter.
  • Drive past the Castle of Good Hope, Houses of Parliament and the Company Gardens.

DAY 03 : PRIVATE FULL DAY CAPE PENINSULA TOUR
  • You will be collected at your hotel by your driver & guide for a Private Full Day Cape Peninsula Tour.
  • Travel at a pace that allows you to explore the beauty of the Cape Peninsula.
  • Depart for the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve along one of South Africa’s most scenic routes, passing Hout Bay.
  • Enjoy a cruise to Seal Island, to view seals and sea birds at Duiker Island (weather permitting).
  • During summer, several thousand Cape Fur Seals – along with the rare Black Cormorant – lollop leisurely among the kelp beds.
  • Travel along Chapmans Peak Drive (conditions permitting).
  • Lunch at a local seafood restaurant.
  • Visit the penguin colony at Boulders Beach.
  • Continue to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve.
  • The scenery en route to Cape Point, at the South Western tip of the reserve, is particularly lovely in spring when wildflowers carpet the landscape.
  • The new lighthouse – the most powerful in the world – beams an electric light of 19 million candle power across the ocean.
  • Ascend to the top of by Funicular.
  • Visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens (time permitting / optional cost). The Treetop Canopy Walkway gives visitors the opportunity to experience the forest from high above the ground. The galvanised steel structure meanders through trees and branches, with sections that crown above the forest.
  • Return to your hotel and spend the balance of the day at leisure.

DAY 04:TRANSFER TO KNYSNA

  • You will be met by your driver & guide for a private transfer to Knysna (approximately

  • NOTE: Lunch for own account, as there are no Indian restaurants en-route to Knysna.
  • Explore the quaint town of Knysna known for its art & craft shops. “The place of the people, beauty and mystery.”
  • Embark on a trip aboard the ferry, the John Benn (weather permitting).
  • The John Benn is a renowned double-decker floating restaurant that offers daily Lagoon cruises on the Knysna Lagoon to the scenic Knysna Heads.
  • This historic boat, named after a legendary pilot, boasts a comfortable and cosy ambiance with a classic wooden finish.
  • Transfer to your hotel.
  • Upon arrival at the hotel, check in.

DAY 05: TRANSFER TO OUDTSHOORN

  • After breakfast you will be met by your driver & guide for your transfer to Oudtshoorn (approximately 2 hours’ drive).
  • Visit the Cango Caves, The Cango Caves are internationally renowned as one of the world’s great natural wonders. Sculpted by nature through the ages, their fascinating limestone formation occurs in a variety of ways.
  • For the not so faint hearted there is the option of an adventure tour (at an additional charge) that takes guests deeper into the cave.
  • Visit the Cango Wildlife Ranch. The Cango Wildlife Ranch is a wildlife ranch 3 kilometres north of the town of Oudtshoorn in South Africa. Established in 1977, the Cango Wildlife Ranch is internationally recognized as one of South Africa’s premier attractions in the Western Cape, providing visitors with a world-class experience like no other.
  • The tour takes your through different habitats where you can see animals such as the crocodile, exotic birds, tiger, cheetah and white lion.
  • Visit the Safari Ostrich Show Farm.
  • Spend some time at this working ostrich farm for an unforgettable tour where you will come face to face with the biggest bird in the world.
  • The tour starts with a tractor ride through an ostrich camp and ends with an “Ostrich Derby” as local jockeys display their ostrich riding skills.
  • Enjoy an Indian lunch at the Safari Ostrich Show Farm restaurant.
  • Return to Knysna and spend the balance of the day at leisure.

DAY 06: TRANSFER TO JOHANNESBURG

  • You will be met by your driver for your transfer to the George Airport for your flight to Johannesburg (flight cost not included).
  • Arrive at OR Tambo (Johannesburg) International Airport, where you will be met by a Royal African Discoveries representative who will assist you to your transfer.
  • Private transfer to Sun City (approximately 03 hours’ drive).
  • Enjoy lunch upon arrival at a local Indian restaurant.
  • Continue to your hotel and check in.
  • Spend the balance of the day at leisure.

DAY 07: TOUR TO SUN CITY WITH SAFARI GAME DRIVE
  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Spend the day at leisure visiting Sun City.

  • Africa’s Kingdom of Pleasure comprises four marvellous hotels, all offering the fantastic facilities of this legendary resort.
  • Sun City offers an enormous range of things to do – both indoors and out.
  • Scintillating entertainment; shows in the Sun City theatre, casinos, games and video arcade, a selection of movies in the cinema complex.
  • Wonderful selection of shops and boutiques stocking souvenirs and mementoes of your visit to one of the greatest resorts of them all!
  • Enjoy lunch at a local Indian restaurant.
  • Meet with your ranger at Sun Central and depart on your afternoon scheduled 4x4 open vehicle safari game drive in the Pilanesberg National Park.
  • The malaria-free Pilanesberg National Park ranks among the largest national parks in southern Africa.
  • It is situated on the eroded remains of an extinct alkaline volcanic crater - one of only three such extensive craters in the world.
  • The Pilanesberg countryside comprises numerous hills and broad open plains and is well stocked with over 80 species of wild animals and 360 bird species.
  • There is definite potential for sightings of the Big Five - lion, rhino, elephant, leopard and buffalo.
  • A bottle of water, a soft drink and a packet of chips are included on the scheduled seat-in-vehicle safari.
  • The drive is approximately 3 hours.

DAY 08: DEPARTURE
    • Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
    • You will be met by your driver & guide for a private transfer to Johannesburg (approximately 3 hours’ drive).
    • Lunch at a local Indian restaurant.
  • Continue for a Private Johannesburg City Tour.
    • Discover Johannesburg, known as the ‘City of Gold’ and South Africa’s economic heart.
  • Travel through the bustling hub of the Newtown district, past Nelson Mandela Bridge towards Constitution Hill.
  • Enjoy a guided tour of Constitution Hill (not included in costs).  Constitution Hill is a city precinct, anchored by the South African Constitutional Court – the highest court in the country on constitutional matters. Constitution Hill is also the site of Johannesburg’s notorious Old Fort Prison Complex, where thousands of ordinary people were brutally punished before the dawn of democracy.
  • Should time allow, continue to the suburb of Sandton, one of Johannesburg’s wealthiest neighbourhoods and spend some leisure time at Sandton City and Nelson Mandela Square, prime shopping, lifestyle and dining destinations.
  • Nelson Mandela Square is also home to an iconic statue of Nelson Mandela.
